Official reporting obligation in the land register for the registration of evaporative cooling systems 42. BImSchV. (KaVKA-42.BV)

According to § 13, the 42nd BImSchV requires all new and existing evaporative cooling systems, cooling towers and wet separators to be reported. It will come into force on 19.07.2018.
Existing plants must be reported to the competent authority by 19.08.2018 at the latest.
Further deadlines for the notification of a new plant, the modification or decommissioning of a plant as well as the change of operator result from §13 of the 42nd BImSchV.

Registration and Logging In
In order to display a system, registration in the land register for the registration of evaporative cooling systems 42. BImSchV. abbreviated KaVKA-42.BV is required. This is done at https://kavka.bund.de/.
After successful registration, the master data of the workplaces and the plants can be recorded and the notification transmitted to the responsible authority.
