aqua-concept GmbH has received official permission from the Federal Institute for Occupational Safety and Health for a Germany-wide test runs with the BIOMEBA biological biocide in evaporative cooling plants and recooling plants.
With this authorisation we are now starting exclusive test runs for the BIOMEBA biocide in Germany. The objective is to establish this natural biocide for controlling the microbiology in evaporative cooling plants and recooling plants in Germany, too.
Using amoebas against legionella
BIOMEBA represents an ideal alternative to disinfecting the water of evaporative cooling plants and recooling plants, which so far was only possible using chemical agents. This biological biocide is an amoeba feeding on germs such as legionella, pseudomonas or listeria.
