The reward for our good work is first and foremost our satisfied customers. But of course we are proud when we receive attention and praise for our work beyond our direct sphere of influence.

Global Energy Award 2018
Climate and energy are one of the most relevant issues of our time. To reduce the earth's CO2 footprint it is becoming increasingly important to develop environmentally friendly and sustainable methods. Every year the readers of the British Global Energy Magazine award the European companies that have played a leading role in this field. We are proud to be one of them. This year we took home the trophy in "Most innovative Water Treatment Products 2018 - Europe". In particular, our developments in the area of glycol-free heat transfer fluids were honored.
Experts and users were convinced
The aqua-concept was selected by an expert committee of the publishing house. After publishing the shortlist and detailed company portraits, the readers of the magazine were able to choose their favourites in various areas.

IKU German Innovation Award for Climate and Environment 2015
The Gräfelfingen-based companies aqua-concept GmbH and geoKOAX GmbH have jointly won the € 25,000 German Innovation Award for Climate and Environment (IKU) 2015.
In the category "Product and service innovations for climate protection" a unique overall concept for a cost-effective and environmentally friendly geothermal solution was awarded. The new geoCoax geothermal probe and the environmentally friendly heat transfer fluid coracon® GEKO together form a perfectly coordinated system that makes near-surface geothermal energy possible even in drinking water protection areas.
A renowned jury pays tribute to pioneering innovations
The IKU Prize is awarded to processes, products, services and business models that protect the climate and the environment and make important contributions to improving our living conditions in various areas. For the fifth time already, the Federal Environment Ministry and the Federation of German Industries (BDI) honored outstanding innovations for climate and environmental protection. From the numerous applications, the high-ranking panel of experts chaired by former Federal Environment Minister Prof. Klaus Töpfer selected the winners in six categories. The scientific evaluation was carried out by the Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research.
